Before/After Delta
A before/after delta is the comparison of an asset's condition at two points in time — typically handoff and return — that isolates what changed, separating new damage from pre-existing wear.
In any condition dispute, the decisive question is "was this damage already there?" A single photo can't answer it. A before/after delta can: here is the panel at pickup, here is the same panel at return, here is what is new. That comparison is the single most persuasive element of a damage representment because it directly addresses the dispute instead of asserting a conclusion.
