Switch Labs Launches VerifyAI Public Fleet Readiness Kit

New no-app AI photo evidence workflows help government fleets document readiness without black-box claims.

NEW YORK, July 3, 2026 - Switch Labs today announced the VerifyAI Public Fleet Readiness Kit, a packaged set of photo-verified inspection workflows for government fleets.

The kit helps public-sector fleet teams document vehicle readiness with signed mobile inspection links, required photo templates, AI-assisted photo quality and condition checks, exportable condition reports, and webhook-ready metadata. The workflows are designed for public works, emergency response, shared motor pools, vendor repair returns, disaster deployment, and utility truck readiness.

VerifyAI's approach is built around transparent evidence rather than automated claims. A fleet manager, technician, supervisor, or department lead can inspect the underlying photos, timestamps, required-shot labels, asset context, verification flags, and exported report before making a release, repair, replacement, vendor, or budget decision.

"For government fleets, the real value of AI inspection is not replacing the fleet manager's judgment," said Eric Levenseller, founder of Switch Labs. "It is making the readiness record easier to capture and harder to lose. If a vehicle is released before a storm, returned after an incident, or kept in service longer than planned, the agency should have timestamped photo evidence that a human can review, export, and attach to the work order."

The Public Fleet Readiness Kit includes six launch templates:

  • Snow response truck readiness.
  • Police, fire, and EMS support vehicle checks.
  • Shared motor pool check-out and check-in.
  • Vendor repair return proof.
  • Disaster and mutual-aid deployment logs.
  • Public works utility truck daily readiness.

Each template includes required photo slots, field instructions, exception rules, sample report output, and a downloadable JSON payload for the VerifyAI inspection-session API.

The launch also includes a free 30-day pilot program for 10 public fleets. The pilot includes template setup for one public-fleet workflow and up to 1,000 standard verifications. It is designed around one asset class and one workflow, such as public works storm readiness, vendor repair return proof, or shared motor pool check-in/check-out. Participating agencies can test whether photo-verified readiness records reduce incomplete inspection files, improve exception routing, or create condition reports useful enough to attach to a work order.

Public fleet teams are evaluating AI at the same time they face maintenance, staffing, readiness, and budget pressure. Government Fleet's 2026 GFX coverage emphasized readiness, data, emergency preparedness, technician development, and the importance of keeping human decision-making at the center of AI-enabled fleet operations. Fleetio's 2026 benchmark coverage reported that many fleets are researching or piloting AI while broad adoption remains much lower, with reliability and accuracy still important concerns. TechForce Foundation's 2026 technician workforce report also points to continuing technician supply pressure across transportation sectors.

VerifyAI publishes usage-based pricing starting at $0.008 per standard verification, with volume pricing available. Public fleet teams can apply for the launch pilot at the kit page or directly at the pilot form; applications are open through August 2, 2026.
